He made clear that the Cemetery was a place to remember and grieve the losses endured there, not celebrate the victory there. Trump's plans to erect an arch to commemorate war is a vulgar desecration of a place intended to commemorate loss. The day after Trump leaves office, the arch should be dismantled and fragments sold, with the proceeds going to support wounded vets and Gold Star families. The day after that, Congress should pass a law prohibiting the internment of Trump, and any of his family, in any National Cemetery.
Totally agree! My parents are also buried at ANC and them and those who lay in the hallowed ground deserve better. Hopefully those of us still living win this battle for them and shut down the damage this POS has perpetrated on the American people.
