Yes, local communities want nothing to do with these human warehouses - not because they are immoral - but because it will #1 overwhelm local infrastructure and #2 cost them money.
This is much-appreciated. We don't need, or want, paramilitary masked goons snatching Americans and asylum-seekers off our streets, with no decent respect for the rule of law --- the glue that holds our country together.
Although this group engages in fake outrage when they are called Nazis, and they accuse their opponents of being hyperbolic, they continue to exhibit behavior that contributes to this comparison. They may not be actual Nazis, but, darn it all, they clearly seem to be 'Nazi adjacent'. This quiet acquisition of warehouses to hold and hide detainees before their deportation just begs to be compared to concentration camps. This move will not do anything to put distance between these people and the moniker of Nazi. However, it seems to me, that as this horror show progresses, being likened to Nazis, disturbs them less and less which should disturb us more and more.
