Thank you --- this is so important. I served in the USAF in Korea in the late 1960s. We're talking about a cornerstone of America's alliance & security architecture across the Pacific that has kept the sealanes open during all our lifetimes. Thank goodness that President Truman stopped the communist North from seizing the peninsula after the 1953 invasion. Donald Trump is ignorant of this really important history. Who could have imagined an American president who would hold the North Korean communists in higher regard than our South Korean ally, a prosperous democracy at that? And who could have imagined that Republican leaders in Congress are not screaming foul at Trump's dangerous follies? This cries out for congressional hearings. The Chinese CCP must be loving this.
Bonnie this post clearly lays out the mass destruction of our democracy by the most vile and evil person in the country. It will take decades to create the level of respect we had before this criminal clown car regime came to destroy democracy. I keep hoping and praying that the voters come out and vote in numbers like we have not seen in years.
