Each action emboldens and heartens us ... to hang in there, keep the faith and be the Spirit of our beautiful --albeit imperfect -- Constitution... its laws and defenders.
This is so important. Our country owes so much to these intrepid federal judges who have been standing for the best of us. One wonders what plans Donald Trump has for them --- and for what's left of our free press, and for those of us who have been speaking truth to power --- should the MAGA Republicans retain control of Congress after this November's mid-terms.
Bruce this was a very clear payout of what has been happening but also the true heroes that are blocking him at all stops along the way. They are risking having themselves and their families threatened but they believe in the rule of law. Joyce Vance has also been writing and giving legal explanation for those of us that are not lawyers or judges so we can understand it better. I appreciate all of the former government employees that are helping us regular citizens understand what is happening in our country. Thank you

Honored to serve in DOJ 1969-1987 in tax and criminal cases in 55 USDCs and several of our Courts of appeal including many of our courageous judges. They and many others are protected by precious US Marshhals.
The vicious and hateful attacks by Trump appear designed to provoke the same violence against these judges, we witnessed on Jan 6 against our Congress by the violent mob he has now praises and pardoned.
Thank you for this analysis of what appears to be a system that was to be governance by laws dictated by the people for the needs and benefits of the people. As you point out, only the courage and position of some in the judiciary remain true to this dream, and the current regime works to undermine their power. At this turning point in the American Experiment, we must consider the causes and corrections before all is lost. The complexity of this analysis is beyond my abilities; however, many believe it is due to the influence of big money and greed who have found tribalism as a tool to work well to make internal friction between manufactured and innate differences behavior motivators. The founders pointed to factions as potential dangers, yet society soon showed that they were easy tools for political activity. Beyond that virtue has been replaced by gold as the goal of our successful leaders as capital has again become the focus of life. A solution needs to be developed for this technological and fused world, but what mechanism exists for its formation is unclear. A desire for a world group of leaders with enlightenment thinking was considered by Franklin in his early Philadelphia days. Now the world has progressed technologically to enable it, but the wolves in man’s nature still block our grasping a true civilization .
