I’m looking forward to 400 former national security professionals of The Steady State, to come out of the closet now and act together to bring this tragic miscarriage to an end. Thank you.
What illegal actions do you think should be brought to an end? The constitutional safeguards have been breached. Congress has failed. Who better to bring the 25th amendment to bear than this illustrious group?
This is a sober, thoughtful warning --- Trump's narcissism is crippling, to the point that our national security truly is threatened. As a nation, we've never been here before.
Thanks Robert for clearly articulating what many of us former members of the Armed Forces are feeling about our fearless (foolish) leader. Trust and wisdom are force multipliers in every aspect of life. On the contrary, a track record of ill-considered and imprudent acts are guaranteed force diminishers. Trump's narcissism and his simplistic, impulsive bent flash in red lights his lack of any iota of leadership ability. As America's Commander in Chief, his incompetence, imprudence and lack of caring for impacts on anyone but himself comprise a first order National Security crisis.
You draw the circle a bit too narrow, sir. Congress isn’t the problem; the true peril is much deeper. Knowing full well what he was, 77,302,580 Americans voted him into the highest office. In contrast, the No Kings rallies draw 8,000,000. This is nowhere near the tipping point.
That is a different article. However, your observation is correct. I blame-in part-Fox News, which has weaponized programming to enrich Rupert Murdoch.

We are headed in the right direction
What legal action(s) do you suggest we use?

His cabinet could remove him from office due to mental incapacity.
And if repeatedly violating the solemn oath of office isn’t enough to remove him, what is the point of swearing an oath?
I agree. They are all in violation of their oaths of office — having placed both self and party before country and our Constitution.
The Republicans in Congress must grow a collective spine.

Thank you for your kind words of praise
He is an aging decompensating malignant narcissist
Yes
Hitler did not know how to run a war either....
Both men lack empathy, which is a synonym for evil.
When you add dementia to lack of empathy and competence, you get an even bigger mess.
Good point
It’s not just national security. Dump is the least capable of performing all functions of any Commander in Chief who ever occupied the White House.
True
Thank you
Is there anything or anybody that could get him out of the White House?
The Republicans in the Congress must collectively grow a spine.
Shame on all those people.
That is the problem. To suffer shame a person must first have a conscience. Regrettably, many are—for all intents and purposes—shameless.
