Sadly most if not all of the professionals who could have given expertise were fired and only “yes men” were left. He does what he wants even if he is told it won’t work. My heart goes out to those families that have lost their loved ones and those that have family over there.
What is very likely is someone referred to the Iran war as an “incursion,” an invasion or an attack. We all know how Trump can mangle words, so he mistakenly called it an “excursion.” An excursion is a short, pleasurable trip or outing.
